It is a gripping, multilayered novel that takes you from personal struggle to international intrigue and back to a hopeful though not yet conclusive ending. The book begs for a sequil. The author's intercultural background really shows through in the writing. It is a challenging read and yet also a page-turner. This is an excellent read!
