Young Toby Lincoln is an orphan and a runaway who ends up in Tie Siding, a makeshift town. Falsely accused of horse stealing, Toby spends two years in a Colorado prison. Once free he makes himself a new life, but his hopes are soon shattered when he is falsely accused of another crime.
