The collected interviews, program notes, articles, and other writings by Venetian composer Luigi Nono. Many items have been translated from German and other languages, but the editorial staff has done its best to verify the Italian renditions with original source materials. This collection was produced in close association with the Archivio Luigi Nono in Venice and is considered the authoritative collection of Nono's own views on music, politics, culture, etc. Editorial notes enable the reader to trace original source materials and relevant dates. Writings not included in the collection are also listed.
