Descripción
Catalogue of an exhibition of Clara Carrié (b. Ushuaia, 1901 Buenos Aires, 1985), a modernist wood-engraver of the first half of the 20th century. "The collection of Clara Carrie of the Museo de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson contains the greatest number of her works, as well as a set of xylographic matrices. The vast majority corresponds to her production between 1938 and 1943. What we now present at three prominent sets: the aquatints of angels, 20 woodcuts to illustrate the texts of Eduardo Mallea and the woodcuts of the series 'Dogma Redención'" (HKB Translation) --Page12.
