This is a guide to help player's on the games 'The Legend of Zelda', 'Zelda II: The Adventure of Link' for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past' (Zelda III), for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It offers step by step playing tips and puzzle solutions for all three games. Although there are no actual screenshots of the games, maps are made up of inter-connected rectangles, and shaded boxes for the first game, and diagram type maps for the second and third game. Both quests in the game first game 'The Legend of Zelda' are described, and solutions presented. This is a re-released of the 1990 book 'Conquering Zelda: The Unauthorized Guide' ISBN: 0874552397 with 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past', a new 'Introduction' and 'Acknowledgements' having been added to this book. The cover art is by Paul Blumstein.
