<b><i>Breathing in Dao</i></b> is a narrative poem in the tercet stanza. It has two parts: <div>I. <b style="font-style:italic;">Awakening by a brook </b>is a simple fable in which a man converses with the inner voice of a brook.  It was inspired by the ancient Chinese book of wisdom, "Dae De Jing" attributed to Laozi. </div><div>II. <i style="font-weight:bold;">Fables of a dreaming butterfly </i>is a fable in which a dreaming butterfly converses with a rose about "Dao". It was inspired by the Inner Chapters of "Zhuangzi" attributed to Zhuang Cho.</div>
