Abstract: The manual is intended to assist health workers with a minimum of education and experience to understand and recognize child malnutrition. Included are discussions, charts and techniques for measuring community malnutrition. Ten steps to follow in defining a community and its food problems, deciding which problems should be attacked and choosing a community nutrition plan are the basics for overcoming community problems.
