Descripción
The purpose of this book is to introduce the reader to the debate on current issues in European integration. It is a result of the observation that policy issues in European integration should be examined in conjunction with the overall framework of policy-making and with respect to implications of existing policies for both EU and non-EU nationals. The book is aimed at stimulating debate rather than providing ready-made solutions. It is a source of reference for students embarking on courses with a European dimension as well as practising professionals who increasingly find themselves involved in a European and a narrowly-defined national framework of decision-making. The anthology attempts to combine both theoretical and empirical research on the one hand, and policy-making processes and policy implications on the other.
